Safe shooting is required at Advanced Bullets Outdoor Range in Temple, GA. A Range Officer watches the line during open hours. Read these rules before you visit, then return to our Advanced Bullets home page for lane details, hourly fees, and directions.
- Eye and ear protection: Wear ANSI-rated eye protection and hearing protection on the range and in the trap area. Shop options are listed on our Hearing and Eye Protection page.
- Loaded firearms: Keep the muzzle pointed downrange at all times. Finger off the trigger until you are on target and ready to fire. Do not handle firearms while anyone is downrange.
- Case and uncasing: Case and uncase firearms only at the firing line or in designated areas. Carry handguns holstered or cased. Long guns stay cased until you are at your position.
- Range commands: Stop shooting immediately when you hear cease fire or when the Range Officer calls a cold line. Open actions, set firearms down, and step back from the bench until the line is called hot again.
- Ammunition: Use factory ammunition appropriate for your firearm unless staff approves otherwise. No steel-core or armor-piercing rifle ammo on our lanes. Ask the counter if you are unsure.
- Shotgun and clay areas: Follow trap house rules and only load when you are in the shooting station. Keep the action open when you move between posts. Sporting clay course rules are posted on our Clays page.
Handgun and Rifle Lanes
Our covered firing line includes a 10-meter handgun bay and rifle positions from 25 yards out to 100 yards. Use only the lane assigned by staff. Shoot at paper targets on the provided holders. Do not shoot at rocks, bottles, or trash. Clean your bench area before you leave.
First-time visitors may rent firearms listed on our Services page. Renters must follow the same safety rules and pay the posted hourly range fee shown on the home page footer.
Children and Guests
Minors must stay with a parent or legal guardian who accepts responsibility for their conduct. Guests should stay behind the firing line unless the Range Officer clears them forward. No alcohol or illegal drugs are allowed on the property.
